DIY Spider Web

Spider web for halloween

Halloween is an annual autumn holiday celebrated by adults and children in many countries of the world. For its celebration, a variety of paraphernalia is created, carnival costumes and vampire masks, ghost figures and garlands of toy bats, lanterns and caskets of real or home-made pumpkins. No less well-known scenery - the web for Halloween. It is made of thread or gauze, wire or lace, old nylon tights or tissue paper.

Web magic

The web is the thinnest translucent thread produced by spiders for hunting insects. In a sufficiently strong, multi-layer “net”, a small bird or a bat can get entangled, while the spider itself does not stick to it.Cobwebs can often be seen in the autumn forests - this time often almost coincides with the time of the celebration of Halloween.

Porch Web

The cobweb as a symbol denotes the fragility of human existence, the long journey of the soul, as well as the networks placed by the Devil in the form of a spider on its path. In another embodiment, the spider is a fate weaver, spinning its fate for every living creature.

Weave from threads, ropes

A spider line from sewing or knitting threads, ropes, twine is easily made with one's own hand, for this we need:

  • a large piece of plywood or fiberboard;
  • black woolen threads;
  • hammer;
  • nails with large hats;
  • black acrylic paint;
  • tassel.

Necessary materials

Working process:

  • a nail is driven into the center of plywood, another 15-18 pieces - around the perimeter;
  • the threads are folded in half, stretched between the middle and the edges;
  • further 7-10 cm deviates from the center, depending on the size of the structure, another nail is driven near each “ray”;
  • a double thread is pulled on driven carnations;
  • after two or four more such circles are made, indented about 10 cm from each other;
  • hats of nails are painted black;
  • when the work is finished, you can plant a giant spider from the toy store on the web.

Drive a nail in the center Then drive nails in a circle Pull the threads between the nails Having departed from the center 10 cm, we drive in nails again Now pull the threads in a circlePaint carnations

To make a free-hanging cobweb, six to ten cloves are hammered in at any suitable place, on which kapron threads or a rope are pulled. A long thread is tied to one of them, which is alternately tied around each of the warp threads. When a circle is formed, the thread is cut and a few more circles are made. Spiders, plastic, as if cut off fingers, skeletons, etc. are glued to the finished structure. Alternatively, you can weave not each circle individually, but with one thread in a spiral, to the very edge.

Web of yarn

Knitted cobwebs, with minimal skills, can easily be crocheted according to the pattern - on the pages of fashion magazines on needlework there are step-by-step master classes, here is one of them.

Pull 6 threads and fix the ends with nails

First, seven to eight air loops fit in, a circle is made of them, which is closed with a half-column. The second row - three air loops for lifting, plus nineteen double crochets, the last - connecting. Of the last loop, after closing the row, five air loops are knitted, the column is knitted through one loop of the previous row, after two air loops alternate with the columns to the end of the row. In each next row of air loops becomes more and more, and the columns fit only above the columns of the previous rows.

Wrap the threads across

The total number of rows depends on the total size of the product, the width of one row is about one centimeter, if you want to make the “cells” larger, the columns are knitted not with one but with two or three crochets. The finished spider web can be used as a napkin, tablecloth, wraps on a chair, a stool, or a spider made of threads and beads can be sewn onto it, presented to friends as a souvenir.

After 10 cm, make the next ring

Knitted design is sometimes made angular - in the form of a sector with a right angle. First, three double crochet columns are knitted in the first loop, five in the next loop, one air loop is inserted between the columns, after which the number of air loops is increased, and the columns are made higher by adding one or two double crochets. In some places you can knit "peas", sew multi-colored or transparent beads that imitate drops of dew.

We also make the rest of the rings

The web can also be a dense rug that fits in two colors. Then the spaces between the web "axes" are knitted with a yarn of contrasting color. It will be equally interesting if you knit a convex orange pumpkin in the middle of the product, on which eyes, nose and mouth are then embroidered.

Gauze Web

This decoration is done if you want to decorate a large space - a room, various pieces of furniture, individual corners, walls. To do this, cut a piece of gauze of the desired length, stretch it from side to side, until something similar to a spider web is obtained.After it is fixed in a suitable place.

Necessary materials Pour paint into water Put gauze in water Then wring Gauze Web

If you want to make an old, dusty web, a little black carcass or gouache is bred in warm water, in which the product is soaked, dried, hung, decorated with sequins, spiders, plastic bones.

A spider web lamp looks interesting - gauze is stretched over an old frame from a multi-track, multi-tiered chandelier, decorated with sparkles, spiders. To prevent fire, the cloth should not touch the light bulb.

Web of paper

Even a child who knows how to hold scissors in his hands can make such a thing. You need a square sheet of white or black thin paper that folds in half. Then the middle of the resulting rectangle is outlined, to which, at an angle of 45 degrees, one side is bent first, then the other. Excess parts are trimmed to make a triangle that bends in half. The edge is cut in a wavy shape, rectangles are drawn and cut from two sides, the central corner is also cut off. The finished cobweb unfolds, decorates, and fastens with glue to cardboard, wall, window glass.

A plausible spider can be made from newspaper tubes, painted with dark nail polish.

Wire web

This corner product is created from flexible wire of any thickness. A wire is taken, from which five to seven pieces are cut, a little more than the radius of the desired design. The extreme parts are located at right angles to each other, the rest - between them. All parts are intertwined at one point, after the rays are intertwined with additional pieces of wire. The tips of the rays are twisted into a spiral or left straight.

It is also easy to make a spider out of eight pieces of wire, wrapped in black thread, tied in the middle.
