The table, if possible, should be height-adjustable, a chair or an office chair should have a comfortable back. Be sure to have enough places to store the office, various papers, documents, and a computer. Office equipment (printer, scanner, etc.) is placed on the desktop or a separate table is allocated for it.

Lighting

Lighting is top, local and decorative. The classic interior provides for a luxurious ceiling chandelier - multi-path, crystal or with metal elements. The working area is lit up as brightly as possible, to a lesser extent - a place for negotiations, recreation. At the workplace, it is most convenient to use table lamps, in the recreation area - wall sconces or a floor lamp. Light is preferred diffused: the room should not have sharply contrasting areas, this adversely affects vision. It is important that the light does not give glare on the computer monitor, does not shine directly in the eyes.

Classical cabinet lighting

The larger the cabinet, the more lighting fixtures will be required. Incandescent lamps are used (give a warm, yellow light), fluorescent (daylight), halogen (cold white). For the workplace, a white light is recommended that increases working capacity; for the place of rest, it is yellow, which helps to relax. Decorative lighting creates a private atmosphere.

LED strip on the ceiling

Street light from the window is also important. "Classic" windows are decorated with heavy dense curtains that protect from the bright sun, transparent light tulle, partially hiding the room from prying eyes.

Cabinet Options

The ideal place for the desktop is exactly opposite the door, facing it, so that everyone who enters the room can be seen.This is a "team position", providing a sense of security, calm. It is desirable that the window is on the side, and not in front or behind - so concentration is lost.

Classical cabinet design

To create a harmonious interior, windows are decorated with indoor plants, preferably cacti or other succulents with thick leaves. A pair of paintings with forest, sea views, waterfalls, preferably in calm colors, are hung on the walls.

In a separate room

The “correct” classic cabinet has a quadrangular shape - backlighting, partitions, and screens are used to correct it. The table is put where it seems convenient - office equipment, the necessary documents are located within reach. It is best to place it in the middle, not far from the main wall, located opposite the front door. Shelves with books and papers are placed on the sides, the resting place is at the side window. The negotiation area is formed by an add-on or pull-out module in front of the desktop, additional chairs are placed along the walls - they are used during negotiations, placed on both sides of the table.

  • on the balcony, loggia - so that noise from the street does not interfere with concentration, sufficient sound insulation is necessary. Dense curtains, often combined with roller blinds, protect from light. The table is arranged on the spot where there used to be a window into the room;
  • in the kitchen - the workspace is placed at the maximum distance from the stove, cooking zone. Usually this is a small table by the window, with a laptop, several shelves for storing the office, drawers for documentation.
